There is evidence of lack of business linkages that exist among business entities in the same locality which if exploited can translate into mutually beneficial business partnerships. This will not only improve productivity and growth of these players but can also impact positively on the national economic grid. Over the past 37 years Zimbabwe has increasingly become isolated from the global business community because of its incompatible and inconsistent policies. Whilst the global business community strives for openness and inclusion, our local businesses are still hung up on the retrogressive culture of exclusion. This engagement can broaden their industry wide business growth and sustainability. PBNI seeks to network business entities in their numerous spheres of operation so that they positively impact on each other’s growth and sustainability. Such collaborative relationships can significantly impact on the overall Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Every business is either a customer or a supplier to the other in one way or the other, so the promotion of business networking opens up a wider customer and supplier base, thereby allowing for greater choice to all the stakeholders in the business ecosystem. The PNBI E-platform will be linked to a GPS for directions from the point of enquiry to the location of business concerned.

The website will prominently displays adverts of promotions by economic players and business opportunities that lies within various economic centres. The site will have a NEWS LETTER option where business news is constantly posted for the benefit of members. Tenders and genuine job vacancies will also be communicated on the site.

 

PNBI aims to target all the economic hubs in each and every town and country in the world. This will make networking within respective towns, and beyond much easier. The Knowledge of value addition and beneficiation will be part of PBNI’s capacity building initiative. Members will be well equipped to not only see impending business opportunities but to utilize them to their benefit and in the process contributing to the economics of their areas and the countries they operate from.

 

  1. Membership into the organization can be through referrals and the utilization of the current business platforms on LinkedIn, Facebook and Whatsapp groups.
  2. In small towns, and where-ever licensing authorities will be engaged. These have a data base of all the businesses that are operating in their respective area and have the capacity to call for an all stakeholders meeting. PBNI will use the meetings as platform for engaging with and inviting the local businesses onto the PBNI platform. When the business community networks for their own business growth, it is to the local authority’s advantage as it is guaranteed continuous revenue in terms of licenses.
  3. PBNI will be well publicized in all media houses, local and international broadcasters and radio stations.
 
 

Members pay a once off membership fee that covers the following;

  • A full day induction training, an appreciation of how PBNI operates and Basics of business depending on their position on the business life cycle
  • The business basics is especially beneficial to most SMEs who usually starts businesses out of availability of cash no the business know-how.
  • After this induction, members get a membership ID similar to the ATM card and membership certificate to display in their offices or workplaces.
  • This payment gives them entry on our PBNI website and mobile app, a brief summary of their activities and their country, town, location and contact details.


  • Registration on the pbni.org website is free but members should eventually if they so wish choose their membership options from the three options that are available on the website, that is SILVER ( FREE for 30 days), PLATINUM ($30/ for 92days) and GOLD ($50/ for 365 days)
  • Our mobile application will direct people to the product and service providers in whichever area they get to, i.e if one is in Bindura and falls sick along the way and need to find a Surgery, they do not need to ask anyone. What they need to do is to go to their application and locate Bindura on the application and type the service they want. All the surgeries in that area comes out and they just select the one closer to them. On the website, it will be like typing this pbni.org/Zimbabwe/Bindura/Surgery.
  • Our website will operate in the 40 major international languages to cater for all the countries as this is an international organization.
  • PBNI plans to introduce an online store on their site as it will be having buyers and sellers on board. This will improve economic activity and efficiency as lead time and some inconveniences in physically travelling to some places to buy or sell goods will be eliminated.
  • Should members choose to advertise on the website apart from those prescribed on the membership category, an additional charge will apply
  • PBNI members benefit from the various business partners that will have on board, financial and otherwise.

    2. Encourage exploitation of local resources and optimum capacity utilization.
